Greenpoint Ranch was a promise made a long time ago from a daughter to her father. Rooted in the culture of South Africa, a father sold the family farm to pay for college for his daughter. This promise was a driving force to success: "One day. dad, I will buy the family farm and we will have it back." The value of family is nestled deeply in the origin story of Greenpoint Ranch. The value and culture is something we hope to share with our guests.
The vision
Evalina Burger
A first-generation graduate degree immigrant from South Africa, Evalina had the ambition and drive to become a physician. With the ranch's origin story attributing to the success, she now shares with the guests what she had as a child: A vast and open world surrounded by family and nature.
Chris van der Walt
Growing up in South Africa yielded a unique experience rooted in the outdoors. Chris has followed closely in the footstep of healthcare, having been a Paramedic for most of his career while moonlighting as a competitive shooter. He focuses on family, outdoors, and wishes only the most pleasant of memories for everyone he meets.
Kees van der Walt
Kees grew up as the youngest of four during a depression. His life was spent in a rural town in South Africa, primarily on a farm. Kees is a self-taught mechanic by necessity and an avid outdoorsman. He and his siblings grew up hunting. He now enjoys spending time sitting by the fire, sharing stories of his youth and will always heave your ear for a great hunting memory.
